There are various ways to get to your holiday destination this summer. But with all the advantages of coach travel – including low costs, increased comfort and the ability to see more – why choose any other means of travelling?
Anyone who opts for coach travel this summer is in for a range of pleasant surprises – including the opportunity to get more out of their trip. For instance, while coach travel may take longer than travelling by aeroplane, it also allows you to see more along the way. You can sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery of surrounding towns and countryside. Moreover, coach travel is typically less expensive than either planes or trains – so if you’re trying to cut corners on the overall cost of your holiday, coach travel is the way to go.
But just because coach travel is cheaper, doesn’t mean comfort is compromised. In fact, coach travel can be much more relaxing than either planes or trains. To begin with, coaches tend to have a lower likelihood of experiencing delays – which are almost inevitable with low-cost airlines. And in terms of comfort on your trip, many modern coaches are now fitted with roomy leather seats and panoramic windows for you to enjoy the views. Coaches also take frequent breaks in rest areas – so you’ll be able to stretch your legs on a regular basis. And you’ll even be able to find coach services which offer passengers free onboard WiFi access – so you can take your laptop with you to work or simply surf the internet during your journey.
Another advantage of coach travel is that you won’t have to manoeuvre around ‘peak time’ prices – which is often the case with plane and train fares. You can find various coach companies which offer the same price for a journey, no matter what time you travel. So you can book your travel ticket based on what’s most convenient for you – not the price of the ticket. Moreover, arranging coach travel is simple, with options to book via the web, over the phone or in person.
There are many coach operators, like National Express, which travel to countless destinations across the UK and Europe. So no matter where you’re planning to go, this summer, you’ll have the perfect means of getting there. Moreover, if you book your transport early, you’ll usually be able to bag some great deals on tickets – meaning your holiday travel will be even cheaper. After all, with optimum comfort, fantastic views and unbeatable deals, what’s not to love about coach travel?

Help answer the question about travel tickets
Can we travel using tickets issued in another country? If I am in country A, can I ask a travel agent in country B to issue me a ticket to travel from A to B (on-ward), and then B to A (return).
Basically, can I buy a ticket from a travel agent in a different country, or do I have to buy a ticket from the travel agent from the country I am going to fly out on.
Thank you for all your answers. Can you also let me know what is PTA?
If I a buy a fare from country B, which is cheaper then if I had bought that from country A, is that ok? Does any PTA charge need to be added?

you just need to search as many sites as possible. for flights, there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. just go here: http://cheapest-travel-ever.info/xhpp and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online… otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
You could try hitchhiking, but I wouldn't recommend it!
With the price of gas these days, you should be thankful for a $69 fare. You wont get any better Im sorry to say. Probably though, if you try to find that fare again, you wont be able to. Ever hear of the "You snooze, you loose" policy?
Good luck though.
There is no particular day in the week to get a reasonable flight to the USVI.
As soon as I know I will be traveling to the islands, I start checking websites. It really depends where you live too.I live in New York and I booked my tickets in November for $300 RT for May travel. I hit a sale on American.
Travel mid-week sometimes will be cheaper, winter rates are usually higher because of demand. After spring break, you will see spring sales, and of couse you will see sales for summer travel August, Sept and Oct because it's hurricane season.
Try this link every day.
http://www.bookingbuddy.com
It searches multiple sites at the same time. If you find a good rate, check the airline website for same flight, sometimes it's cheaper.
You can sign up for this site.

Good Luck and enjoy the USVI)
I've always used Amtrak.com, they have last minute deals that can't be beat. Usually cheaper than any of the online travel sites like orbitz.com.
I had no problems getting my tickets.
Please go directly to the airline, because they are the cheapest.
when you go via a travel port, they are charging you extra.
trust me, i have lots of experience traveling
good luck
don't get hurt.
Yes, you can buy a ticket to be used for a flight in a different country. I regularly buy tickets to fly to another country from the U.S., either online or through a travel agent, and before I leave the U.S. I purchase tickets for a separate round-trip flight in that other country. No restrictions, as long as you're using legal airline tickets. I always use e-tickets so everything is in the computer system.
travel place because its safer less chance of fraud
Only an employee can give you a buddy pass. Each employee is issued 8 a year. They arent free and most times you can buy a ticket for just a little bit more and be confirmed. Buddy Passes are stand-by only and you can get bumped for days. Especially with summer travel, it is sometimes difficult to travel on them and not recommended especially for families with small children. If someone tries to sell you one, that is illegal. You are only supposed to pay the fare for the buddy pass and the employee can be fired if caught selling a buddy pass to anyone.
I never would give mine to a family with children during the summer. Too many times they would be stuck for hours or even days somewhere and I would get an earfull. If you do know an employee who can give you one, they have to make the arrangements and it can only be paid online by credit card. There is a dress code and it is strictly enforced. Some people do not understand the rules and employee's have lost their priveledges as well as their jobs because buddy pass riders lost their temper when they were not cleared on a flight.
There is much more to know about flying non-rev, but find an employee first. They need to cover all the rules with you, but honestly, its really not worth it during the summer time or traveling with a child. You can be seperated and on different flights and it can get ugly.
Just like what xanaduloot said, make sure that the person you are buying tickets for is someone you really know personally as opposed to someone you met online only and have know only through the internet for a long time.
But to address you question, the only two airlines presently that fly between Nigeria and the U.S. are Delta (through their hub in Atlanta GA) and North American Airlines (through either Baltimore/Washington Airport, MD or JFK Airport, NY).
I must warn you that tickets can cost upwards of $4000 round trip and that the tickets will need to be paid in full before confirmation and tickets are issued.
Possible air routings to Austin may include:
- Delta from LOS->ATL->AUS
- North American from LOS->BWI and Southwest from BWI->AUS
- North American from LOS->JFK and American from JFK->DFW->AUS
